A freestanding sign consisting of a base and a sign face where the width of the base is a minimum of one-half the width of the widest part of the sign face. The base of a monument sign shall be architectural in nature and utilize materials consistent with the design of the building the sign is identifying. [Ord. 1267, 09-14-09.]
