5-139. Off-Street Parking.
A. For all buildings hereafter erected, moved, altered, enlarged or used, off-street parking space in the form of garages or areas made available exclusively for parking purposes shall be provided as required by the applicable parking code and in accordance with the regulations for Districts R-1, C-1 and D-1. Off-street parking spaces shall be located on the premises with no portion except the necessary driveway(s) extending into any street.
B. Off-street parking spaces shall be at least eight and one-half feet by 18 feet in size. The number of off-street parking spaces shall not be less than the number set out in the following parking code:
1. Parking Code for District R-1. Two parking spaces per dwelling which shall be in the form of a garage.
2. Parking Code for District C-1 and District D-1. Requirements set by the ARB after study of individual situation. In District D-1, temporary parking on grass may be authorized for a limited time period, subject to approval and in accordance with requirements set by the ARB. [Ord. 1647 §§ 3, 4, 11-13-23.]
